Assistant Professor Mathematics and Computer Science

The University of San Diego, an independent Catholic University, seeks applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor of computer science position, to begin September 1, 2014. All areas of computer science will be considered, although we are particularly interested in applicants who will help us make connections with other disciplines.


Candidates must be excellent teachers, have a strong research program, and have a commitment to working with undergraduates on research and other projects. A Ph.D. in computer science or related field at the time of appointment is required. Candidates should be willing to teach a broad selection of introductory computer science courses, as well as upper division courses within their area.
