Assistant/Associate Professor, Pharmacy Practice & Administrative Sciences Develop and maintain a patient-centered medical home model of delivering pharmaceutical care in an ambulatory care clinic setting with Heritage Health Clinic in Northern Idaho. The faculty member will oversee pharmacy students in the delivery of patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in medical therapy management for high acuity patients, and establish evidence-based protocols to be instituted at the clinic. Research will be an expectation of this position regarding the impact of the program on quality, productivity, and patient and provider satisfaction.
QualificationsGraduation from an accredited school of pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
Residence and/or fellowship in general clinical pharmacy with 1 year direct patient care experience or at least 3 years experience providing direct patient care with scope of practice responsibilities and practice setting similar to those required by this position.
A current license to practice pharmacy in the state of Idaho or the ability to obtain one prior to hire.
Board certification in Pharmacotherapy or Ambulatory Care is desirable.
