Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology

The Department of Psychology at the University of Maine invites applications for a tenure- track, academic-year Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology to begin September 1, 2013. Applicants must demonstrate outstanding research, grant, and teaching experience and/or potential. As a core faculty member in a well established APA-accredited clinical program, the successful applicant is required to have a strong background in adult psychopathology and related clinical experiences, as well as an empirical, science-based approach to clinical practice.


Applicants must be license-eligible in the State of Maine and have a Ph.D. degree in clinical psychology by date of hire. Area of research specialization is open but preference will be given to applicants who can teach graduate courses in adult psychotherapy and ethics and professional issues.
