Associate Dean College Of Health Professions

The College of Health Professions at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) invites applications for the position of Associate Dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs. Housed in an academic health science center known for excellence in interprofessional education, the College is a national leader in education, scholarship, and research.

The College seeks qualified candidates experienced in program accreditation; program/curriculum development and evaluation; appointment, promotion and tenure reviews; faculty evaluation; and who have worked with faculty leadership committees. Regional accreditation experience is desirable. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Prior experience in mentoring faculty is required. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a senior team member and leader in the College. The individual chosen will report directly to the Dean

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a doctoral degree and be eligible for senior level rank (full professor preferred). Preference will be given to candidates with health professions training/experience. Candidates must have a record of academic scholarship, professional association involvement, and be recognized nationally for their expertise. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience.
