Assistant Professor General Internal Medicine

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine, is seeking Internist or Family Medicine Physician for a full time clinical position in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.


Fellowship training in Palliative Medicine is preferred, but experience or training may replace this requirement. Board certified or eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine is required. The responsibilities of this full time position include attending on the inpatient palliative care consultation service, sharing in the ambulatory care practice, supervising and instructing palliative care fellows and other trainees, and participating in the clinical, educational, and research activities of the Service. Time will be divided evenly between St. Paul University Hospital and Parkland Health and Hospital System (the safety net hospital for Dallas County)
