Assistant Professor Of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at The University of Texas at San Antonio invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level starting fall 2014.


Required Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related field and strong academic achievements in the area of either Biochemistry or Experimental Physical Chemistry. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, (1) scholarly activities including the development of a robust, externally funded research program; (2) teaching courses in the area of either Biochemistry or Physical Chemistry as well as other related undergraduate and graduate chemistry classes, and (3) participation in service activities in the institution. Screening of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
