Postdoctoral Research Associate Nuclear And Particle TheoryThe Nuclear and Particle Theory group in the Department of Physics at the College of William and Mary invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position in the group beginning in September 2014, pending availability of funding. Topics of interest include: lattice QCD, effective field theories, heavy quark physics, and lattice field theory. The group consists of three faculty (Carlson, Orginos and Walker-Loud) and currently has one postdoctoral research associates and four graduate students. In addition, the group has strong ties with the Theory Center at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. by the starting date and have expertise in an area relevant to the group’s research program.
