Professor And Chair, Chemistry Department

DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY CHAIR AT THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO DENVER: The Department of Chemistry at the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) is seeking a Department Chair to lead a vibrant, growing department known for excellence in teaching, as it expands an outstanding student-centered research program. Candidates are expected to have a strong record of accomplishment in research and a commitment to excellence in teaching that would qualify them for tenure at CU Denver, at the rank of Full Professor.

Qualifications

. The successful applicant will be expected to maintain a research program that complements the research activities of the current faculty, and to teach both undergraduate and M.S. students. Collaborative research programs with faculty in other CU Denver departments, both on the Downtown Denver Campus and at our Anschutz Medical Campus, are strongly encouraged. PhD in chemistry or related field, 10 years of experience managing a research program, Teaching expertise in one or more disciplines of chemistry
