Vp University Advancement/foundation President SearchAs President of the Foundation, the Vice President works collaboratively with the Foundation Board of Directors. The Foundation is a separately incorporated, nonprofit organization designed to secure, manage, and invest private gifts for the benefit of NMSU’s teaching, research, extension education and public service programs.
QualificationsA minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;
Ten years of experience relative to university development activities;
Evidence of leadership and excellence in a senior and/or executive level position;
Demonstrated skills in short- and long-range planning, team building, techniques of fund raising, and excellence in oral and written communications; and
Experience working in higher education in a large complex organization.
