Assistant/ Associate Professor Of Architecture


Assistant or Associate Professor of Architecture, tenure track -Design Studio + Visualization & Communication, or Technologies, or Practice & Service: The successful candidate should be dedicated to teaching undergraduate and graduate design studios and required and elective coursework in the applicant's area of expertise.

Qualifications

Candidates should be qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate architecture design studio and should demonstrate a strong record in research, scholarship and practice/public service/community design work. The successful candidates for the tenure-track positions will show promise for and be expected to satisfy expectations for high performance in teaching; departmental service; research, scholarship, and/or practice; and contributions to the school at large. The typical teaching requirements each semester will include a design studio and a lecture or seminar course in the applicant's area of expertise.

Minimum requirements for these positions include a Master's Degree in architecture, urban design or other related professional fields, with prior teaching and/or professional design experience. Candidates need to provide evidence of significant research and/or creative work related to design and contemporary practice. Architectural/engineering registration or a Ph.D. is preferred.
