QualificationsApplicants for the position must hold an earned Ph.D. and have significant academic experience in at least one field represented by the academic programs of the college, while also having familiarity with the broad array of fields in the college. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of accomplishments consistent with tenure at the rank of full professor at a research university. Applicants must have the ability to lead and manage a complex, diverse academic organization, as evidenced by significant administrative experience. Applicants should also have experience facilitating productive partnerships and a positive reputation with the external community including fundraising, strong communication and interpersonal skills; and a leadership style that fosters inclusive working relationships with faculty, students, staff, alumni, and other administrators.
