Dean Of Students

The Dean of Students will develop, implement and manage student admission strategies and create student life programs that appreciate, respect and celebrate the cultural norms and values of an international community of scholars in residence in Shanghai. The focus will be student learning, community, diversity and quality service that corresponds to an NYU education across the globe. The primary responsibilities of the Dean of Students include student admissions, student life programming, student life outreach, study abroad programming, career counseling and student immigration related services.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Required Education: Master's Degree
Preferred Education: Doctorate preferred
Required Experience: 1. Seven to ten years of progressively responsible experience developing and managing the implementation of student services to a diverse student body at the college or university level or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Experience with special events planning and implementation.
