Professor Composite Materials And Engineering Center The Institute for Sustainable Design (ISD) program at Washington State University (WSU) invites applications for a permanent 9-month tenure track faculty position in sustainability engineering at the main Pullman, WA, campus with an effective start date of August 16, 2013. The position is anticipated to be filled at the Full Professor level. This position is part of WSU's priority to build a diverse faculty; thus, female and minority candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
QualificationsThe successful applicant will be required to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, develop an externally funded research program, and provide on- and off-campus professional service. An earned doctorate in Civil, Chemical, Bio Systems, or Environment Engineering or a closely aligned field is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collegially and collaboratively with diverse internal and external constituencies are also necessary.
