Assistant, Associate Or Full Professor Materials Engineering

Teach Civil Engineering courses and participate in College of Engineering outreach and service activities. Develop an externally-funded research program. Contribute to the undergraduate and graduate academic programs within the department and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in both teaching and research.

Leading teaching and research in one or more of the following areas: Advanced materials for sustainable civil infrastructure systems, innovative sensing/monitoring technology, or computational modeling of materials.

Qualifications

Candidates applying for this position are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate and graduate levels and a demonstrated capability related to the development of an externally-funded research program with a strong record of peer-reviewed publications.

Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. in an area related one of the listed specialties:

Advanced materials for sustainable civil infrastructure systems, innovative sensing/monitoring technology, or computational modeling of materials
