Qualifications

The post holder will be expected to build on this success. The University is looking for an individual with research interests which will complement those in the Department and/or adjacent disciplines such as Chemistry, the other Engineering specialisms and Environmental Strategy. Applications would be welcome from those with relevant industrial experience.

Whilst the appointment to the role of Professor at Surrey is a permanent one commencing as soon as possible, the responsibility for the Headship will be for an initial 3 year period, renewable for a further 2 years after which time the post holder would normally revert to a professorial role in the Department. The post attracts membership of the USS pension scheme, thirty days annual leave entitlement, seven University days, along with eight public and statutory holidays.
