The Royal Academy Of Engineering/bombardier Research Chair In Composites Engineering

Following receipt of funding from the Royal Academy of Engineering and Bombardier Aerospace, the University wishes to appoint to the founding Royal Academy of Engineering/Bombardier Research Chair in Composite Engineering within the School of Engineering.

Qualifications

The successful applicant will be an innovative and ambitious individual with integrity, energy and passion for their work. S/he will have an outstanding research track-record and a proven ability to provide leadership in the area of structural materials research as well as the ability to develop strong strategic stakeholder relationships which will support the development of the ERI and NIACE.

The appointee will be offered a permanent professorship and hold the title of Royal Academy of Engineering/Bombardier Research Chair in Composite Engineering for an initial period of five years.
